"Talent is desire"

Malcom Gladwell ("Outliers") is being interviewed at Fareed Zacharia´s GPS show at CNN (that's one weird smile btw). He is making some good points including "talent", "success" and the impact of culture in performance. Including:

- If talent exists, it's just the powerful drive to practice: apparently The Beatles's harsh experience in Hamburg was a key cause of their success.

- Hierarchical cultures stifle creativity: apparently Korean Airlines (and Asian in general) have had more accidents due to hierarchical relations (I think the picture is much more complex)
